Like I said, I've been sitting on this one for a while, but I really wanted it to feel lived in. I also liked the idea of showing what the clique is like outside of Henrietta (from On Your Shoulder, not from Marrow Chroniclie - really put myself in a corner with that one), and it was fun to flesh them out.
I actually have another story I've written in a similar vein with the same character! I plan to share it eventually 👀
I definitely recognised the creepy elevator from On Your Shoulder! I confess I didn't remember the character's name there was Henrietta (and it obviously wasn't the one from the Marrow Chronicle) but that didn't really matter! Will look forward to the other story with her in due course!

After I wrote On Your Shoulder, I felt like there was so much more that could be explored in this sort of setting. I'm glad I pursued it, and made it just interconnected enough for people to be familiar but not need it either!
