It's insane to think I first met Seijun in....what. Summer 2019 as a DND character??!! And now here we are, his story fully laid out along with the second character I played with of yours in a TTRPG, Akashi. It's a wonderful experience to practically see directly into your brain. And yes I will keep calling you even if a time difference opens up I promise
Huuuge congratulations!!! So cool to read about your plans for what's next too! But yes, thesis writing is a draining, all-consuming pain all on its own (I remember the feeling) so don't be afraid to give that the time it needs.
TAS was such a good story. As a "long-time" (??) Astra reader, it was very satisfying. Don't know that I have a favourite chapter (there were many good ones) but favourite character? I still love Akashi. I also enjoyed seeing Seijun grow - it just took me a little while to connect more with him because I had got to know Akashi from the Southern Calt series. I do think Astra could appeal to a wider audience, and I totally think it would be worth making some short story / novella zines! I mean, I don't know if it would make money, but it would be a whole lot of fun especially with some snazzy artwork.
Also.... Sam Rake isn't on here any more??? 😮😮😮 Gutted... he was one of my favourite writers. Also gutted that I never got to finish the adventures of Mr Grey. I used to binge chapters of that when I was travelling or such, and was in the last season and now it's gone 😭😭😭 I hope he's OK... such a talented writer.
Thank you so much! All this feedback is beyond appreciated!
And as for Sam, I KNOW I only read the first couple of stories and I was planning on reading all of it once I had time, but all his stuff disappeared from my save list. I was so bummed out. I don't even know if he stills read, but if he does, I hope he knows how much many of us appreciated him!
Congratulations and great work 🥂 🍾 This was a mammoth effort and it's so admirable to see your growth! Keep it up!
Thank you so much! It's beyond appreciated! Can't wait for what comes next 🔥
