The first two parts were praiseworthy enough, but man... you stuck the landing so well. The whole series had this building tone of melancholy coming-of-age, and it peaked perfectly here. The last conversation with Akashi/Ollen and the final scene with Akashi/Panshin hammered home the "We're not children anymore." message. Especially Ollen's lines about losing her "pacer" - expertly sorrowful.
I am sobbing over here 😭
This is such a poignant ending, tying everything together beautifully after the drama of the last part. I wonder what becomes of Ollen after this..
